aLights turns your android phone to a light source by using its background illumination. It is up to you to decide which type of light source should be generated. You can see the various types below on the screenshot. More types will be released soon, after they’ve been tested properly.
Currently available are:
This function simulates an ambient light (those lights that turn from blue to red to yellow to whatever color…) The main idea is to use it in a dark room, just start the application and place your phone on a table. Now everything will work on his own, just relax and enjoy your room changing colors 😀
Lost your keys in the dark? Stuck in the dark? Not anymore, just grab your phone and select this function. It will generate enough light so see something in a complete dark place up to 1m.
You want your light to have a static color? By touching the screen you can simply change the color to what you like, more colors will be available soon!
Fool your friend with this function 🙂 just launch the application and put your phone in the back of the car, your friend will think he’s/she’s being followed by the police :D!
Warning: displaying a flashing blue light may be illegal in your state/country. PAPERS.ch takes no responsibility. It is your responsibility to use the this function only if it doesn’t offend the law!
Strobo light fascinates a lot of people, now you have it on your phone! You reach the best result if you use the function in a dark room.
Note: All those functions work with the background light of your phone, setting the background brightness to its maximum will consume a lot of batteries…
