I guess everyone knows at least a few curious stories. They happen everywhere, in the train, on work and even at home. Most of them are absurd, bizarre and very funny, that’s why we decided to provide you a platform to share it with the whole world.
Since we are deploying for mobile, we decided to make the project more “qrious” (I hope you get the pan
). Our stories shouldn’t be just spread over social media platforms like facebook or twitter, they also should be kind of linked to the real world. Therefore we decided to create stickers with QR codes to the appropriate stories on it. It gives you the possibility to reach people who would never ever be interested in your story in any way. For the beginning, Niklaus created and illustrated three curious stories he experienced in the last time.
Since a picture is worth a thousand words I’m very proud to present you our newest mobile web project: qrious.ch
Imagine the following situation, you are waiting for the next train, unfortunately you have to wait a long time. In the first ten minutes you are playing around on your phone, update your facebook, tweet about some stuff. Maybe another five minutes on a news ticker but then it’s getting boring. So you look around and find an interessting sticker, just with a QR code on it. Seriously, what would you do? Exactly

We ordered 30 stickers for each story, and affix it to locations and objects where people pass by daily. Here are some examples how they look like in the wild
Our next step is to order about 1000 stickers in the next days and lay them out in stores, clubs and other public places.
The whole project was initiated by a schoolproject from Niklaus. He had the presentation on the 21st december, and we are eagerly awaitng the mark he achieved. To get the project to the point we have it now, we had to invest a lot of our free time but in my opinion it was worth it.

I love those stickers!
Same to me
