Application Update
Last weekend we managed to improve and release a new version of both policeLight and policeLight PRO. They can be found in the Android Market. We are talking about version 2.5. All the changes will be added to aLights a soon as the language support has been implemented.
The reason this update took so long, were a lot of administrational problems, which we could solve and finally focus on the actual development.
What changed?
First let’s focus on the common changes of both releases (Free and PRO):
- Improved UI!
- Save Bug fixed!
- Sectioned settings menu
- Improved police light algorithm
For the ones that are wondering how the new menu looks like, here a screenshot:
Now to the major changes that affect only the PRO version:
- Add-Free
- NO Internet and/or coarse location needed!
- Sound Support!
- 4 choosable police sounds available!
Yes, the sound support is only available for the PRO version. It might be added to the free version as well, but with less choosable sounds.
What comes next?
The team is working really hard to add the language support of the following languages: German, French, Italian, Dutch, Russian and Spanish. The multiple language support will be released next weekend!
Should I buy the PRO release?
If you like the application we are developing and want to support us, buying the application would be a great help to us. But it is up to you to decide whether or not you should buy this application. Fact is, that there is no alternative in the market (that is so customizable) and concerning the reviews and user ratings it is the best police light application for android!
We want to release as much as we can for free, this means most of the features are also available for the free version.
For those that want to see policeLight in action, here we found a little clip demonstrating the features policeLight PRO has:
