I’m happy to announce version 1.5 of Auto Bluetooth. Beside two new features which I will explain below, I first will show you how the new version looks like. We did more or less a complete redesign, including the icon, widget and of course the wizard.
These are the two new features:
Persistent connections:
Adds the possibilty to let Bluetooth turned on if the connection to the headset was successful. This is very helpful in many cases, as example if you want to call someone back after a call.
Ignore system Bluetooth status:
In the old version we just switched Bluetooth on and off again. Now we added some additional intelligence. With this preference you can tell us either if you want to override the system Bluetooth status or not. If you deactivate ignore system Bluetooth status and you activate Bluetooth manually, we will never turn it off until you do it by your own.
You like our work or like to support us? We would be really happy if to get the donate version to support future papers projects.

I had an ericsson P1i that after registered once with my cars’ radio, anytime after that, when a new call was coming the phone was using car’s radio without requesting from me anything to do.
Switching to android phone (samsung Yong & samsung ace), I use your software for not having to make a bluetooth pairing any time I enter the car and to limit battery consumption. I never managed to have the previous experience with ericsson P1i. I have to pair the phone with the radio every time I enter the car (password is not requested during pairing except the first time I did it).
Is it possible for the auto-bluetooth to remember a bluetooth device’s MAC and try to reconnect automatically each time a call is coming or when I am going to start a call?
